The hash tags hurt more because I'm someone you've been doing exactly that too, and have done nothing to deserve not being acknowledged after a long friendship. I'm doing it anon to avoid confrontation, but hoping it makes you think at least.

I know I’m very self-absorbed and crap at making the effort with people
but it’s hard when I’m approximately 400 miles away from the majority of my friends (who all have jobs, boy/girlfriends, other friends) to keep in regular contact
